Sundays @ 8:30 am, 10:30 am
Youth camps offer an incredible opportunity for students to disconnect from the distractions of everyday life and connect deeply with God. They often lead to life-changing experiences, spiritual breakthroughs, and lasting impacts. Held annually in January, Axis Summer Camp helps students start their year with renewed vision and godly momentum.
The camp includes powerful worship services, impactful preaching, morning devotions in nature, leadership-focused activities, team-building fun, shared meals, and much more! While each year’s program may vary slightly, the core mission remains the same: to create an environment where students can encounter Jesus in a fresh and meaningful way.
We want every student from grades 6-12 to be there, and we are committed to removing any barriers that might prevent them from attending. If there is any way we can help your child attend Summer Camp, please reach out at axis@thelifechurch.co.za. Thank you for letting us partner with you!
INfluencers
Our theme for this year’s camp is INfluencers. It comes from 1 Timothy 4:12 which encourages youth to stand out as godly influencers in their speech, conduct, love, faith and purity. It is our goal to explore these fi ve areas and equip students to lead by example.

Our destination is Kwalata Adventure Camp, situated in the Dinokeng Game Reserve just over an hour away in Hammanskraal. Established in 1994 specifi cally for youth groups, Kwalata has over 30 years of experience and has served countless schools. They have built a safe, trusted reputation for creating unforgettable camp experiences that combine adventure, teamwork, and personal growth.
Phones
Summer Camp promises to be an unforgettable experience fi lled with fun, new friendships, and powerful encounters with God. To enhance this, we’ll collect students’ phones on arrival, creating a distraction-free environment where they can fully engage. While students are offline, parents will stay updated. If you’re not on the Axis Parents WhatsApp group, we’ll add you. Contact details of our on-site Axis leader and camp manager are available in the Summer Camp Form and on our website.
